Joe Desmond Launches New Distribution/Manufactures Rep Firm

September 3, 2004 - Rohnert Park, California - Professional Audio Industry veteran Joe Desmond is proud to announce the formation of his new company, Joe Desmond and Associates (JDA).   Since 1986, Joe Desmond held the position of VP of Sales and Marketing with Furman Sound, of Petaluma, California.   JDA will specialize in the importation and national wholesale distribution, as well as Northern CA representation, of professional audio, home theater, sound contracting and AV integration products.

Powercom USA, Inc., and Pragmatic Communications Systems.   JDA will also act as the regional factory representatives for these manufacturers in Northern California and Northern Nevada, along with Aphex Systems LTD., Groove Tubes, and Inter-M America, Inc.

JDA's executive staff includes Director of Technology Dave Harris, Lesa Kinney, National Sales Manager and Pam Desmond, Director of Operations.   The firm has established their new office and warehouse in Rohnert Park, California, located approximately 90-minutes north of San Francisco in Sonoma County.
