An Endless Sporadic Returns to the Concert Stage After a Two-Year Hiatus
at the Legendary Roxy Theatre,
Friday, October 4, 2013
September 30, 2013 - Hollywood, California: An Endless Sporadic, the all-original instrumental Fusion/Progressive Rock Tour-de-Force, that gained worldwide success with their 2008 EP release Ameliorate, which featured tracks on Tony Hawk’s American Wasteland, Guitar Hero® III: Legends of Rock, and Guitar Hero® World Tour, will return to the stage of the legendary Roxy Theatre, Friday, October 4, 2013, in an ALL AGES show at 10:40 p.m. (Doors 7:00 p.m). Dream Theater keyboardist, Jordan Rudess, calls An Endless Sporadic, “A wild progressive sonic ride.”
The Roxy performance is the first show for the band after a two year hiatus where founder and lead guitarist, keyboardist and primary composer Zach Kamins returned to the Berklee College of Music to complete his degree studies. The Roxy performance will also feature the debut of new bassist, Eloy Palacios. The prodigal Palacios is a 2003 graduate of the Berklee College of Music, an endorser of Carvin musical instruments and also performs in Los Angeles-based bands, SchwarZenator, Dinosaur Dick, and Media Solution, and with songwriter Bryan Titus. An Endless Sporadic consists of guitarist/keyboardist and primary songwriter Zach Kamins, drummer Andy Gentile, and Berklee-trained guitarist Tony Solis.
In November 2009, An Endless Sporadic released their first, full-length, self-titled CD of original material, with three tracks available as additional downloadable content for Guitar Hero® 5. The An Endless Sporadic studio effort was produced by leading Progressive Rock guitarist Roine Stolt and engineered by bassist Jonas Reingold, both of the legendary Flower Kings. Roine, who is also the lead guitarist of the Progressive Rock Supergroup, Transatlantic, featuring Dream Theater drummer Mike Portnoy, calls An Endless Sporadic, “Two young guys with that youthful energy and a strong will to create masterpieces with no boundaries.”
Leading Progressive Rock news site, SeaofTranquility.org states, “It's too bad I didn't hear this one in 2009, as it easily would have made my 'Best of the Year' list."
An Endless Sporadic, in the vein of RUSH, DREAM THEATER, COHEED AND CAMBRIA, PORCUPINE TREE, ELP, and TOOL, has developed a devoted international following of rabid Heavy Metal, Fusion, Progressive and Hard Rock and electronic game music fans since the release of Ameliorate, from which over 100,000 downloads of their single, IMPUSLE, which appears on Guitar Hero® III: Legends of Rock, have been sold to date.
Music Connection Magazine gives An Endless Sporadic a rare high-score of 8.4 out of 10, calling the band’s music, “altogether cinematic and dynamic, deftly recorded, performed with touch and agility and with plenty of imaginative bending of time signatures,” and Sputnik Music states, "...arguably the most progressive two-man show the world has ever seen."
